Pinecrest Residence

Project overview
On a compact corner site in Ferndale, Pinecrest Residence brings a two-storey home and a separate accessory dwelling unit into a coordinated architectural composition.
Low-sloping roofs, pale vertical cladding, gray horizontal siding and timber-framed porches give the two buildings a shared identity while preserving their individual entrances and living spaces.
The main residence pairs an open living, dining and kitchen area with a first-floor primary suite, additional bedrooms above and space for future basement rooms. The ADU extends the design with its own living spaces, a covered patio and a screened upper balcony.
Together, the buildings explore how a small residential site can accommodate distinct households while creating a consistent relationship to the street and outdoor space.
Joint venture with Daniel Toth Architect (DTA).
